Version 2026-10-28-draft

This is a draft written for testing. SaveWave's founder is reviewing it, and it will change before SaveWave opens to the public. You'll be asked to accept the final version.

What SaveWave keeps

Your email address and name, and when you accepted this policy and the terms. When you save an estimate, SaveWave also keeps your ZIP code, heating fuel, window details and the estimate itself. When you say your kit is up, it keeps the day and the number of kits, and the share of your savings you chose to set aside. If you only ask SaveWave to keep you posted, it keeps your first name, email address and ZIP code, and when you agreed.

What SaveWave never keeps

Bank or card details. SaveWave never holds, pools or moves money; your Future Fund is an estimate in the app, not an account.

Who else handles your data

WorkOS runs sign-in, records how you signed in and sends sign-in codes. If you sign in with Google, Google confirms who you are. Vercel hosts the site, and Neon stores the database in the United States (AWS US East).

Who sees what

You see your own estimate and inputs. SaveWave's organizers see your email address so they can run waves. Once gifts can be recorded, people connected to you by a gift will see your first name and town. Savings and CO₂ appear to others only as totals or averages across a whole wave, never per person.

How long SaveWave keeps it

Until you ask SaveWave to delete your account or your request to be kept posted. Deleting an account removes your sign-in, your saved estimates, your kit, your policy acceptances and any request to be kept posted made with the same email.

Changes and questions

If this policy changes, SaveWave will ask you to accept the new version before you continue. Contact details for questions and deletion requests will be added before SaveWave opens to the public.
